I think I may not post again until the first portion of the story is finished being edited... That way each photo doesn't seem as random! lol. Annnd I made a huge boo-boo in this one...her belly button isn't showing in any of the other pictures!! hahaha!! whoops.

...Any Mermaid born at the Spring would be unable to survive away from the waters of Alope - but with one exception: On a single night each year, at the time of the Summer Solstice, the Mermaids could leave the Spring and go on land by way of their old human legs; but only so long as they each carried water from the Spring in a vile around their necks. If a Mermaid did not return to the Spring by first light after the Solstice, she would burst into the tears from whence she was formed and would live no more....
